Andrew Juge of the Saints Nation stops by to discuss the Saints meltdown in Denver. He wonders why the Saints aren't using the tackle eligible play anymore to help the run game. He also explains why the Saints will have a tough off season trying to rebuild the defense. Ralph asks if the Saints have finally given up on the 2012 season. Andrew also wonders what the hell Joe Vitt was thinking making some of the moves he did. And finally Andrew and Ralph argue over if LSU has a shot this week against Alabama.
4-12 as long as they beat the Falcons. Oh YES. That is a MUST. I love hearing you guys every week. <3
Can't somehow play the podcast... What is wrong? --- ah I see now. Ok.
Anyway..I still think we shoulg get rid of Spagnuolo asap, hire a 3-4 guy and overhaul the defence. You can't get much worse now can you? Season is a loss anyway!
You will be able to train some guys on positions now that you will want to know their 3-4 position next year.
Put Cassilas LOLB, Wilson ROLB, You have Vilma, Lofton, Hawthorne, Ruud and Shanle to play MLB and go OLB on occasion. Hack, even Harper can be an OLB. Secondary can stay the same.
Get rid of Vilma, Ellis and Smith. Great guys, but they are overpriced/injured/old. They just don't do their job.
You get 1 excellent guy as Tackle in free agency, you draft a corner as your #1 pick. Loose the extra baggage and sign some cheap free agents.
Hey you even have cap room to give Jimmy Graham his contract (who by the way is doing a nice job of making his market value less then Gronks). How is that for a team effort?
..."We are experiencing unusually heavy traffic. Please try again in a moment." This is all I see. :/ Never had problems listening before. I guess you guys are getting more popular. :) ***WHO-DAT'?!!!***
Ellis is a STRAIGHT BUST!!! every time he's in the game he always pushed several yards (backwards), Will Smith is fat and slow and has no motivation - esp no hustle at all. Hicks is active he spends a lot of time in the backfield and it's toss up between Tom Johnson and Bunkley but the latter 3 we can keep - we must DX Ellis and WSmith and that should free up cap numbers, Gillette is good but his reps are low so starting him is a must, Wilson can go back to LB he'll be better suited . As of now Vilma legs are not under him several times he slow to the point of attack so a full off season and as long as he's healthy we can get a good serviceable yr or 2 out of him; I'd move Lofton to the strong side I just think Vilma is better at putting them in position. GWilliams knew how to use Harper and Spaggs that's not in coverage so use him as nickle LB and that's it, Jenkins needs to be strong and we get a new free safety. So we need players on all 3 levels of the D but the most is at the front
@RobertJacksonII I've been saying the same thing RJ.. I was hoping Ellis would hav balled out being a contract year for him, but he's still playing like poo! And what else can I say about 91 but bench him and let Wilson get some experience. 91 is supposed to help with the run but he gets man handled by a tight-end! What the heck is going on here?
LSU as the most talent but the least coaching!!! Les Miles will stank it up again! O-Line coach is the play caller still!!!! God Help them!
Do we want to win anymore games? I hope they stomp a Mud Hole in the Eagles! Please don't embarrass themselves or the Who Dat Nation again!
Alot of the run gashing was due to 91 getting his ass handed to him by a Tight End!!! Opps! There goes your cut back lane!
Ellis should have been inactive! Matter of fact BENCH HIM AND WILL SMITH FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON!!!!
Another thing Sp is good for is calling a 14 play 10 minute drive to take pressure off the D! Ask Andy Reid could he and McNabb get the ball back?
